I to have tried twitter and failed to keep up with the comments and spam. I would be interested to try it in a classroom, but some of the content that is tweeted is inappropriate, thus it is blocked in my school also. I wonder if twitter has considered making an educational version of twitter, sort of like what ed.voicethread.com is attempting.

I could see an educational version of twitter coming out that includes the functionality of polleverywhere.com
